The Lord God Almighty

by Deborah Bell © 2015

Torrential rains and hurling winds
With strength beyond compare
The sturdy mammoth mighty oaks
Bend down as if in prayer

The rumbling thunder shook the earth
As bolts of lightning flashed
Sky as dark as black of night
As angry winds did lash

The force behind this massive storm
Reveals He’s not a fraud
He shouts from heaven this decree
I AM ALMIGHTY GOD

Look Up! Look up! Perceive Me now
Dear man so great and bold
Where are your gods to save you now
Look up! And Me behold

The powers of the universe
Are all in My control
And with one gusting of My breath
I could destroy your soul

Turn back! Turn back! and come to Me
The One whom you’ve denied
I sent My Son to bring you life
To you…whom all…have died

Just open up your heart to Me
And it…I will…transform
And give you life eternally
Plus…I will calm the storm…

The voice of Thy thunder was in the heaven; the lightnings
lightened the world: the earth shook and trembled.
Psalm 77:18
