So much is spoken of the Promised Land,
It’s bounty, comfort and supplies of rest,
Viewed even from a distance it looks grand.
With music, praising Jesus name brings zest.
The Hittites’ spiritual attack is fear,
Girgashites’ compromising insults ring.
With battling angel armies ever near,
Back on the Amorites their pride I fling.
Discovering deception from Hivites,
Returning strife upon the Perizzites,
Depression I reroute to Jebusites,
While I demolish lust of Canaanites.
In Jesus’ name and with my God in charge,
By answered prayer my blessings are enlarged.
