by Brady C Ervin

I looked into my mirror,
and was astonished to see.
A face I recognized at once,
but the face was not me.

How is this change possible?
My face should be there.
I looked again and realized,
whose face into which I stared.

I rejoiced to see His face,
His face I did find.
How can this be possible,
with His face in place of mine.

At last I realized His face,
did not replace mine,
but with Him in me, and me in Him,
what would you expect to find?

It was His way to remind me,
He is ever present inside.
The Holy Spirit makes it possible,
when you allow Him to reside.
