The singer signed her new recording
The writer signed the book he wrote
The sports star signs a shirt or cap
In an effort to endorse and promote

It's a gesture that will personalize
And add dimension to it's worth
Linking contact between the two
Giving each, a moment of mirth

Jesus made promises to one and all
Then signed it with His Blood
"Whosoever will," included me
It will stand, come flame or flood

"I will return," He did proclaim
E're from this earth He did ascend
On a day unknown to the world
In triumph and glory, He will descend

By faith, I have His autograph
It's the greatest asset that I own
When my earthly sojourn ends
I'll not be rejected at His throne
