A Lamp on a Stand

No one ever lights a lamp,
And hides it in a jar.
They put it high upon a stand,
To be noticed from afar.

No sin that's ever in your life,
Can be hidden very long.
The light of truth will soon shine forth,
And expose your every wrong.

Consider well all Christ has done,
Ere your life the Lord does take,
So listen carefully to the truth,
Your eternal soul's at stake!
