The Answer Is Jesus

by Pernell Rodocker © 2014

How many questions can I ponder?
How many times shall I wander?
How far does God's hand reach out?
How many times must I stand and shout?

When will I listen as He speaks?
When will I turn the other cheek?
When will I see his unfailing love?
When will I be soaring free as a dove?

How will I ever meet His demands?
How will I stay ever in His hands?
How will I be what He wants for me?
How will I do and what is the key?

What is God's truth for me today?
What is God's plan what will he say?
What is God's direction I shall go?
What is God's answer, yes or no?

How can I walk in faith with Him?
How can I talk or sing a hymn?
How can I trust where I'll be going?
How can I go without knowing?

Where is my heart in God today?
Where is my tongue and what does it say?
Where is the love that I should show?
Where is the power to just let go?

How do I move with in His steps?
How do I love with the same depths?
How do I act with others around?
How do I praise without a sound?

Why do I act the way I do?
Why do I see the old, not new?
Why do I touch the pains I see?
Why do I fall and never be?

How does the love He has for me,
Touch my soul and set me free?
How does His hands pick me up,
Set me at His table and then we sup?
How does His heart keep telling me,
That He still cares and this I should see?
How does His love keep me in His heart,
And protect me from the fiery darts?

Who is the one that still loves me?
Who is He and where can He be?
Who is His son that came and died?
Who set me free and in whom I abide?

How many questions can I ponder?
What is the truth that is before me?
Where shall I find no place to wander?
When is the time to just stop and be?
Why must I stop and just listen so?
Who shall I listen to How will I know?
