To Mom With Love

Mom, I know you're up in Heaven,
But I wish that you could see
Just what is on my heart and mind
And how much you mean to me.

I hold these precious memories
Deep inside my heart and soul.
I'll love you with all my heart
E'en while the many ages roll.

You taught me to love the Lord,
To read my Bible and pray.
"Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior,"
You sang, while on your lap I lay.

You made delicious tomato gravy
And biscuits as big as my fist,
And every time I hurt myself,
The "boo-boo" you actually kissed.

I miss your voice and pretty smile.
I miss seeing your loving face.
Mom, I think about you everyday.
I know you are in a better place.

It is Mother's Day here, dear Mom,
So until I meet you up above,
I will say I love and miss you.
