Struggles

by Ken Leath

My bills take all my money, my trucks on its last leg.
My horses need more hay, and from my in-laws I must beg.

Tomorrow's looking darker, than it ever did before.
I think I'm struggling way to hard, I can't take it anymore.

Yet God tells me not to worry, tomorrow's another day in time.
So take a breath, and slow way down, cause right now I'm doing fine.

Now tomorrow and its troubles, can't bother me in any way.
If I just leave them where they belong, and don't think of them today.

Troubles bound to find me, it will happen throughout my life.
There's more trouble than needed in just today, I don't need tomorrows' strife.

God has promised to meet my every need, in Him I must trust and obey.
By His direction I take each step, He dealt the hand that I must play.

I might not have much money, my possessions could be taken away.
Then I think of my wife and children, they're my greatest joy each day.

It's not the things I've struggled for. That really have much worth.
It's the treasures stored up in heaven, not the temporal things of earth.

I thank God daily for my family, Gods gift to me to grace my life.
I think I'd really have to say, my greatest blessing is my wife.

And on that day time stops for me, and I step into eternity.
I'll see my Jesus face to face, and no worries there will be.
