We're Stronger When We Pray Together

by Raydene Nash

Jesus bought us from our father, Satan,
In order to transfer us to the light.
When we put God’s ways above those of man,
The Spirit in us, we are in the right.
The way we treat those thought of as the least
Is how we treat God’s Son, the scriptures said,
And He has made us into kings and priests,
To us the Lord gave life when we were dead.
Whom they will love some tend to choose and pick,
God does not play favorites with His children.
Excluding others, with their cliques some stick,
Thus, divisions in some churches worsen.
We know we’re stronger when we pray together,
But some of us feel left out altogether.
