He Kept Every Scar

Heaven came down on that first Christmas Day with a wonderful gift to a world gone astray.
Christ shed His Life Blood and He broke satan's bars. He gave all He had but He kept every scar.
He kept every scar for the proof of His Love. He came where we are just to take us above.
And all else He left but our souls He engraved with scars that He kept when He rose from the grave.
