The Great Physician

The diagnosis is not good; we've done all that we can,
I am sorry about this news, but I hope you understand.
I wish that I could tell you, that everything will be okay,
The only thing to do now, is to bow our heads and pray.

Father, we come before You, to humbly seek your face,
May You look upon these children, with your enduring grace,
Man says it is hopeless, but Your Word says it is sealed,
Through the stripes of Jesus, we know that they are healed.

We are praying and believing, by the blood of Christ, Your Son,
Who gave life unto these children, when He whispered, "It is done."
For You set a choice before us; this day choose life or death.
Lord, we are choosing LIFE, for You command their breath!

By the authority of Your Word, You watch over to perform,
We speak healing to these children; as the heritage of the Lord.
For nothing is impossible, when we bring our needs to You,
We are standing on Your Word, for we know that it is True!

You are the Great Physician, so we walk by faith, not sight.
As we rest in the strength, of Your power and Your might,
That we may stand, immoveable, and fixed in full assurance,
Though trials will come and go, a crown of life awaits endurance.

We worship You, we praise You, we bless Your Holy Name,
You came to set the captives free, and this we will proclaim!
You are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End,
The Author and the Finisher, but most of all...Our Friend!
