Daily Thanks to God

According to God's word we should give thanks to Him for everything,
And as we do, He will put a joyful song of praise into our hearts to sing.

In giving thanks we show God that we are thankful for Him meeting our daily needs,
Because when we lift our food to our mouths, it is God who truly feeds.

We should thank God for awakening us to a bright and exciting day,
As His Holy Spirit guides us down the straight and narrow way.

Even when there are problems that look like dark clouds looming in every direction we look,
We can be thankful to God for all of His life solving promises in His book.

While we're down on our knees and talking to God the Father in prayer,
We should never forget to thank Him for giving Jesus' life to the slayer.(our sin)
