The first Christmas, brought Salvation

Shinning was a star that gave great light, that shown Jesus that first Christmas night.
The holy Child that would become our Savior, while making the sins of our lives come to light.

The Redeemer that mankind had never known and the One who would become our dearest friend.
Jesus, the God-man, which brought us a way to Salvation, saving us all from our sin.

Jesus always knew, that He could be the only one pure sacrifice to save fallen man.
He knew that through His death, mankind would always have a solid place to stand.

He preached about the Kingdom of God, and how we all must repent.
God knew that Jesus would live a holy life,and that is why He was sent.

Not everyone loved Jesus and I will never fully understand why.
He came to earth to live for all, and for all He came to die.

In pain, shame, and agony, Jesus hung on the cross and suffered a horrible death for you and me.
On the third day, however, Jesus rose from the dead; the grave had to set Him free.

Now as we celebrate the birth of our Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Let us not forget, that the first Christmas brought us salvation and everlasting life.
