A Race Run for Jesus

I have started a race for Jesus, that will end with a heavenly view.
Many are chosen to enter this race, if you are chosen what will you do?

As I run this race, I sing about the love of Jesus to those who love Him as I do.
They are running with me, some in front, others behind, will you run with me too?

With the grace and strength of Jesus, I run this wonderful race as He holds to my hand.
I will soon be seeing the finish line across the street of gold, as we enter His promise land.

I'm a sure winner in finishing this race, for I shall obtain an incorruptible crown.
But when I see Jesus in all of His glory, at His feet, the crown, I will lay down.

After spending a glorious time with Jesus, I will spend a glorious time with you.
If the choice you made, was to run the race with me, as Jesus asks you to do.
