Lord Help Me

Lord help me to draw closer to You, a little more each day, as Your word I daily read.
Help me to see that it's not others You're talking to, but that You're talking to me.

Lord help me to stay in Your word of truth, Your mirror of life that I daily need.
Help me to see that it's not the other people that I need to look at, but it's me I need to see.

Lord help me as I daily read Your word, to see the person that I really need to see.
Help me to see the person which gives me the most of my problems, to see that, that person is really me.

Lord help me to listen as I hear Your word being preached and taught to me,
It's not the person next to me that You're talking to, but the one at fault...Me!
