Restful Sleep

My trust is in You Jesus, as I lay down to rest upon my bed,
While having thoughts of Your love, mercy, and grace, running all through my head.

I can have restful sleep tonight, since You have given me comfort and peace,
And all of my fears and worries, to You, I have given and released.

As I pray for all those in need, and I give You my request tonight,
I know that whatever Your answers are, they will be just right.

I will lay upon my bed in peace, while waiting for sleep to overtake me,
Because I know that if I should die before I awake; my soul will forever be with thee.
