Someone Did

Now who can read a poem
Lest first there be a poet
This precept I will show 'em
And this is how I’ll show it

Whatever gets promoted
If not for a promoter
Whoever can be voted
If never there's a voter

Our diamonds come from mining
But not without the miner
Who’s doing the designing
If not for a designer

Who plans for us a tactic
If not for a tactician
And how can there be magic
If not for a magician

If someone went through training
Then somewhere there’s a trainer
The love of someone’s painting
Is proof there was a painter

If reading this translation
There's surely a translator
So how is there creation
If not for a Creator
