An "In Flight" Prayer

Heavenly Father, I humbly pray,
Be with me today as I fly.
Surround this plane with angels,
And please hold it in the sky.

Guide the pilot's skilled hands
As he confidently flies the plane.
Help him not to be hindered
By storms of winds and rain.

Keep all the instruments working
As we fly up through the skyways,
For you know just how high we are.
Protect us through those high ways.

Then, Lord, when we start to land,
Please let everything work right.
I thank you, God, for being with me
And protecting me through this flight.
