According To His Mercy

Salvation is a gift that is free.
It's not by righteous works we do.
According to His mercy, He saves us.
Jesus shed His blood for me and you.

Though we are so very unworthy,
God sent His only Son to earth
To be the sacrifice for our sins.
Accept Him and have a new birth.

Our great God is a God full of mercy.
We don't deserve blessings He bestows,
But He blesses us beyond measure.
We fall short of His mercy, He knows.

The Lord has done so much for us.
We should serve Him until we die.
We need to be led by the Holy Spirit.
His presence can always be nigh.

According to His mercy, He saves us.
Let us give Him thanks and praise!
Then face to face with our Savior,
We can thank Him one of these days.
