What A Day May Bring

It’s often said one never knows
Just what a day may bring
Some days we soar above the clouds
While others clip our wings
But in this life we’re bound to face
Unpleasant days for sure
It's in these times that we must keep
Our faith line clean and pure
Jesus tells us in his word
Bring all your cares to me
This trial that you’re going through
Is no surprise you see
I am all knowing and I have
An ever watching eye
Don’t even think for just one moment
I’ve missed one tear you’ve cried
So child fear not lift up your head
In me rejoice and sing
And from now on don’t fret about
What a day may bring
