Love Lifted Me

Because I am a learner
there's many trails for me to bear
and although I suffer heartaches
I'm most certain Jesus does care.

This suffering is only for my good
that I may learn and grow
Jesus suffered that I might live
He suffered for me, I know.

As I walk in faith believing
perfect love will cast out fear
I decide to follow Jesus today
put to practice what I hear.

I'll surrender to his great command
love the lost that they may live
and by reaching out to others
His great love I'll be able to give.

God's love can change the hearts of men
I know, Love Lifted Me!
I'm willing to share his love today
and be all he wants me to be.
