How Troubling to God

I wonder how troubling,
to God, that it is . .
that when we need advice
we don’t go to Him, for His?

I wonder if He scratches,
His head in amazement
to how with waiting on Him
we’ve become so impatient.

I wonder how disturbing,
to God, that it is . . .
that when we need strength
we don’t go to Him, for His

I wonder if He shakes,
His head in utter confusion
as to why we think we can do
anything without His inclusion.

I wonder how distressing,
to God, that it is . . .
that when we need direction
we don’t go to Him, for His?

I wonder if He moves,
His head from side to side
thinking how much we need
to learn in Him to abide.

I wonder how we would be,
if in God we would just trust
I wonder if then we’d see . . .
just how much He loves us!

Nahum 1:7

“The Lord is good,
a strong hold
in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them
that trust in him.”
