Accept God's perfect Gift

Some people spend hours shopping
For that perfect gift they must find.
It is for that very special someone,
So it must be the best of its kind.

God sent His holy, perfect gift
When He sent His Son to earth.
He came from His home in Glory,
Though He had a lowly birth.

The angels announced His birth
On that night so very long ago,
When Jesus came to this earth
To dwell among men here below.

Jesus was the perfect Son of God,
Who came from His throne above.
God sent His only Son to die for us
Because of His mercy and His love.

God gave to us his perfect gift.
He sent Jesus to be our Savior.
If we accept Him into our hearts,
We can live within His favor.
