CREATION EDUCATION

by Deborah Bell © 2013

If we had no teachers that would teach us how to live

We’d have to let our lessons come from what creation gives

Like birds teach us to start each day in joyful happy song

And pigeons teach us how to come back home where we belong

Our canine friends teach faithfulness and loving to the end

And a possum teaches when we are in danger to pretend

An eagle will instruct us how to hunt from up above

And to show us pureness spiritually… God gave to us the dove

A squirrel has a way to help us with economy

And an ant will teach us how to work for our community

A cat will show us how to sneak up quietly and pounce

And a rooster tells when to wake as morning he’ll announce

A buzzard tells us we should clean up all trash and debris

And a chameleon shows the profit of adaptability

Our world gives us a seminar each time we take a look

More common sense intelligence than we’ll find in a book…

For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are
clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his
eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
