Look up to the Light!

When pain is your lot
And sorrow clouds your sight;
Then, beloved child of God,
Just look up to the Light!

Look up to heaven, to Christ,
To the things above -
And with all of your might
Hold onto His great love.

The Lord loves you, it's true;
He knows how you feel.
Jesus has compassion on you;
He wants to help you heal.

When you're aching, anxious,
God says: "Peace, be still."
You can rest in Jesus -
Safely in God's hand and will.

Just trust in His good plans;
The Lord has hope for you!
Your heart will dance -
You won't always be blue.

You won't always feel sorrow;
Weeping lasts only for a night…
Joy will come in the morrow;
Child of God, look to the Light!
