Press On

When going through a trial
it's so easy to complain
but we need this in our life
like sunshine and the rain.

Too many times we interfere
with God's most perfect plan
trying hard to run the show
without even holding his hand.

It's foolish when we walk our way
and think we know what's best
when God tells us plainly in his word
come unto me, I will give you rest.

This trial will surely come to pass
when the time is exactly right
it's important that we walk by faith
and never by our sight.

For God can see what lies ahead
it's vital that we move slow
pray without ceasing (in your heart)
give the problem to him, let go.

When you come unto Jesus he will answer
when you come unto him he will
give it may not be what you expected
but press on, rejoice and live.
