From dirt to flesh, He formed אָדָם (ādām).
From glory, birthed in mud.
Pure virgin screams bring forth divine;
The one of Judah's blood.
Let the seas roar and rivers clap
And foothills sing for joy!
For God, the King of Earth and sky,
Has come as mortal boy.
Spawn of the adolescent womb
Sleeps in a feeding box—
The Son of Man lays not His head
Like grey born crafty fox.
For to us a child is born!
The heir to David's throne
Appears as lightning, dressed in snow,
Knitted in flesh and bone.
The one who rides on donkey's colt,
He rules with iron rod.
What good can come from Nazareth?
Behold, the Lamb of God!
