The Lord knows that I am just like the grass.
With healthy glow, I flourish for today,
Tomorrow any riches I amass
Won't save me if the wind blows me away.
The word says, Vengeance, says the Lord, is Mine,
And I am not to judge or measure wrong.
It's at the Lord's table I want to dine,
In Him, I find I'm capable and strong.
I focus on His goodness, not my sin,
Which Jesus dealt with, hanging on the cross.
Today may overflow my vats and bins,
Tomorrow maybe I'll sustain a loss.
With life abundant, Jesus favors me,
Restoring all I had with more to be.
