His Kingdom Reigns

It’s Jesus’ name that is above all things,
In believers’ hearts will reign His kingdom.
To trample on a scorpion that stings
We use Jesus’ name, not weapons random.
Without Christ’s finished work we’d not be free,
Against temptation we’d have not a chance.
Christ’s own mind steps in immediately,
At sin we need not give a second glance.
Us media would disassociate
With faith while offering a life of ease.
Although the wisdom of this world seems great,
He regained the keys to death and hades.
In Him we live and move and have our being,
By His cross, redemption we are seeing.
