Jesus Plannd Your Salvation

by Raydene Nash

If today you’re drinking and carousing,
Maybe saying that you’re making merry,
Know that I know I am missing nothing.
You may prove you’re far from God so very,
Flaunting friends and family near at hand,
Using language foul and cursing others.
On the cross your salvation Jesus planned,
Believed for by she who was our Mother.
Your pain and disappointment you may hide,
Your buried past long years forgotten yet
Your Savior will not you yourselves deride.
The payment for your shortcomings is met
A couple-thousand years ago by Him
Whose name you take in vain, your view so dim.
