Meet Me Where I Am

Please meet me where I am, dear Lord,
I'm lost and all alone.
I've traveled very far, You know,
so far away from home.

I know I've been estranged from You
and did things on my own.
I did not listen when You spoke
and now I must atone.

I do confess that I've been wrong
and want to change my ways.
I'm in a place that I don't like
and do not want to stay.

I'm ready to give up my pride
and ask You grant me grace.
I want to live a faithful life
with all my sins erased.
