Judgment

by Annie B © 2020

A dark mist shall hide
The boundless world to be;
While liars, lunatics, and frauds;
Are all the same as same to me.

The hollow freights vessels;
Over the billows they will pass.
Sulfur streams will overflow,
As the condemned ones shout in mass.

Dreadful, wanton, and lawless;
Then they too shall take their leave;
All God's rules, laws, and dictates
That define those who don't believe.

As they pass the burning stream,
Mount Sinai will blaze anew;
To judge the lives of the "pious,"
And to give salvation to the few.
