JUDGEMENT DAY REGRETS

by Janette Lueveen

As I watch the setting sun,
My heart cries, what have we done?

Holiness has withdrawn its light
Exposing deceptions of the night

Angels guard a pearly gate
St. Peter holds a golden slate

Now all must kneel before His throne
Weeping comes, over what was sown

Judgement spoken with no relent
Unveiling sins, we did not repent

Your Holy Truth we failed to face
Now a hopeless void fills its place
