The world has said while shaking head,
That Christians aren't too wise.
They send the blind, wisdom to find,
With their unopened eyes.
The world looks down to cast a frown
On those who are redeemed.
Atop their perch, they mock the church
As those lesser esteemed.
A mystery of knowledge He
Has placed within our hand.
The Gospel of our Saviour's love,
To save the souls of man.
For as it stands, across the lands
Are Christians unashamed,
Who make the choice to lift their voice,
The Word of God proclaim.
The world is right that Christian might,
Is not their strength or sword.
The world was wrong while all along,
A Christian's might, the Lord!
This chosen lot the Lord has sought
To make His very own.
These lowly few and humble too
Will gather round His throne.
In Jesus Christ we find our life,
To Him the glory be.
The Lord or lords, in heav'n adored,
Through all eternity.
