TEARS

When your eyes are filled with tears
And your heart with uncertainty
God's Holy Word will purge your fears
Bringing forth joy and tranquility

Sometimes there are tears of delight
When joyfulness will overflow
The presence of God's Holy light
Will set your heart aglow

Then there are tears of loss
That causes you to grieve
In your bed, you'll twist and toss
Jesus can send comforting relief

The worst tears are those of regret
You know that you were wrong
From the cross, Jesus paid the debt
Transforming tears to jubilant song
