“If God Loves Me Then…”?

by Cheremiah © 2022

People many times will say
"If God loves me, then why doesn't He.."?
Their sentence is then finished
As they share their painful plea

We live in a corrupt and sinful world
Filled with sickness, death, and despair
And things are going to happen
But that doesn't mean God doesn't care

The answer to, does God love you?
Is found at Calvary
The Greatest Love of all displayed
From God to you and me

Another way to pray might be
When in affliction's fires
Is that your trust in God's Great Love
Would be your heart's desire

And Lord since You've
Proved Your Love to me
May I use this opportunity
Not to doubt Your Love
But Trust in Thee
