Creation Songs

by Kathy Kimbrough © 2002

The wind is roaring
And the rain is falling.
I hear the voice
Of creation calling.

The trees are dancing
And the birds are singing.
Creation Songs
Are loudly ringing.

The grass is bowing
And it cannot rise.
It's worshiping God
While creation cries.

The cotton is swaying
And it does not yield.
The hay is waving
From a nearby field.

God has called
And his creation obeys.
They do not question
But joyfully praise.

Jeremiah 2:22
Although you wash yourself with soap and use an abundance of cleansing powder, the stain of your guilt is still before me," declares the Sovereign Lord.

Romans 3:25
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished.
