Hell Made for the Devil

by Raydene Nash

The gospel states hell's fires cannot be quenched.
As all have sinned, in hell there are arrears.
He paid for lives from murdered babies wrenched,
When their cells begged for mercy, screamed in fear.
He feels the anguished agony of rape,
He's sad that children suffer every night.
He paid for lungs of teenagers who vape
Because it's cool and they think it's alright.
He paid for those who get kicked when they're down
By individuals callous, yet with mirth.
Christ died upon the cross and then arose,
That hell is made for him the devil knows,
And Jesus is the way in scripture's terms
To not be eaten by undying worms.
