By Himself

by Cheremiah © 2021

By Himself Jesus purged our sins
By Himself Jesus cried
My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?
As He hung on the cross to die

His Holy, Righteous, Father
Who will never embrace sin
Saw the sins of the world
On His Sinless Son
And He had to turn from Him

By Himself Jesus tasted death
For each and every man
He is crowned with honor and glory
Seated now at God's right hand

Please come to Him now believing
That for you He died and rose again
By Himself He will wash you in His blood
That's salvation's simple plan

Hebrews 1:3 kJV

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high
