On Our Knees

by Denise Collier

We come to God on bended knee,
The only one we want to please,
And bow down low before His throne
To give all thanks to Him alone.

Knowing how He saved our lives,
This isn't such a sacrifice,
To humbly praise our precious Lord
And give Him praise forevermore.

We gladly put our flesh aside,
The ridding all it has to hide,
And come before the One we love
To worship Him who's up above.

2 Corinthians 4:8-10
King James Version

“We are troubled on every side, yet not
distressed; we are perplexed, but not in
despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken;
cast down, but not destroyed; Always
bearing about in the body the dying
of the Lord Jesus, that the life also
of Jesus might be made manifest in our
body.”
