Contented In Him

When I was in poverty
Many times I was hungry
Yet I survived the adversity
All because He sustained me.

When my riches were plenty
I was glad and happy
I was able to share with many
All because He blessed me.

When I was weak and sickly
I was in pain and lonely
Yet I endured the misery
All because He comforted me.

When I was strong and healthy
Always in action and lively
Laughing with friends and cheery
All because gladness He gave me

Whatever life situation I may face or see
He never leaves me and cares for me deeply
He is my LORD and He is all to me
Contented in Him - - JESUS, He's praiseworthy!
