Safe Snowflakes

Sometimes I'm like a snowflake
blowing all about
the storms of life have come my way
I may begin to doubt

that God in Heaven loves me.
He holds me in His hand
and He won't put more on me
than I am able to stand.

When times come that I am afraid,
I must remember that He is there.
He will never leave nor forsake me,
and on Him, I can cast all my care.

Though winds of trouble may blow in my life,
on His Word, I want to be standing
and though I may feel like a swirling snowflake
I'll trust God for a safe, soft landing.

"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." I Peter 5:7

"What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee." Psalm 56:3

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5,6
