Christmas Loop

In the fullness of time one day He came
came to a stable, meek and lowly,
lowly and humble, Jesus his name
name above all names, exalted and holy.

Angels and shepherds did adore,
adore Him of whom the prophets foretold,
foretold of God, come to earth as a babe,
babe for us to have and to hold.

I marvel each year at the Christmas story,
story of God, for man's heart wooing
wooing with baby's innocent charm
charm exuded through soft sighs and cooing.

Born to die, the Prince of peace,
peace on earth, good will toward man
man that God longed to redeem
redeem and reach through His perfect plan.

"But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law," Galatians 4:4

"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:" Philippians 2:9

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6
