Jesus is the Way

There is only one way that leads to God, one way for all of humanity:
That way is Jesus Christ; so it was, and so it is, and so it'll always be.
Only Jesus saves us from sin, only His blood takes away our shame;
And we can only receive eternal life, by believing in His name.
In Jesus we have peace with God, we're no longer the children of wrath;
Our Father lovingly calls us by name, to follow in the narrow path.
God's desire is that we love one another, in simplicity and godly sincerity;
That we shine as lights in the world, as people who've been set free.
That we keep Jesus' Word, and in His love and grace always live;
That we have a really big heart, and are quick to forgive.
Sometimes we have to make difficult choices, the road to Life is hard;
Paved with unselfish, sacrificial deeds that come straight from the heart.
A new commandment the Lord has given us, a yoke easy to bear:
Like He has loved us, that His disciples thus for each other would care.
Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life, for you and for me -
By Him we come to the Father; so it was, and so it is and will always be!
