All The World Will See

by Kevin Smead © 2022

Why do so many rage,
Imagining things vain?
Why do they kick against the truth
That Scripture has made plain?

The kings and rulers join,
To cast away the chords.
They make their plans, and set themselves,
As one against the Lord.

But God in heaven laughs,
They cannot do a thing;
When in His wrath He vexes them,
And Zion has her King.

For Jesus Christ shall reign;
God has made this decree.
He will possess the kingdom then,
And all the world will see.

Be wise now and repent,
And serve the Lord with fear.
Rejoice in Him with trembling,
And ever hold Him dear.
