The Gift He Sent My Way

One day while I was walking, I found a winding trail.
Its beauty was astounding — perfection was detailed.

And as I traveled onward a peace came over me.
It moved within my spirit so ever joyfully.

'Twas then my ears heard something. I turned my head to see
a stately waterfall cascading gracefully.

I stood there in amazement and listened to its sounds —
watching every movement of water splashing down.

The sight was captivating — a peaceful, calming view.
It was exhilarating — I truly felt renewed.

I thanked the Lord, my Father, for blessing me this day
and praised Him for this rare gift that He had sent my way.
