Trust God Anyway

by Margaret Cagle

When trials seem to weigh you down,
And you can't get answers when you pray,
Just wear a smile and lose that frown.
Have faith and trust God anyway!

When you're discouraged and feel sad,
And the skies all turn to gray,
And everything seems to turn out bad,
Keep believing and trust God anyway!

When the night seems so very long,
And it seems it will not turn to day,
Praise God in your heart with a song.
Give thanks and trust God anyway!

When you can't get any peace of mind,
Even when you never cease to pray,
And answers you can't seem to find,
Look up and trust God anyway!

Remember God's timing is not ours,
And the answers will come one day.
Nothing is too hard for God's powers,
So cheer up and trust God anyway!
