She Spoke Not A Word

by Deborah Smith Plemmons © 2018

She's a witness for Christ, God's Son;
Handing out tracts to anyone.
Loudly, she was heard;
Yet, she spoke not a word.

She seems to live with no fears,
Praying for others through tears.
Loudly, she was heard;
Yet, she spoke not a word.

She gives to the poor and needy;
No thought of ever being greedy.
Loudly, she was heard;
Yet, she spoke not a word.

She reads her Bible every day;
She's gained wisdom along the way.
Loudly, she was heard;
Yet, she spoke not a word.

I know she lives a godly life,
For she is my dear, lovely wife.
Loudly, she was heard;
Yet, she spoke not a word.

I came to know Christ, my Savior;
Won by the conversation of her.
Loudly, she was heard;
Yet, she spoke not a word.

Are you loudly heard,
Though you speak not a word?
