Where's Your Bible?

by Deborah Ann Belka

For some their Bible sits,
on their coffee table
they only reach for it . . .
when their TV ~ loses its cable.

Other's keep it on a shelf,
where it gathers a lot of dust
they only pick it up . . .
if they feel that ~ they must.

Some carry it with them,
when they go to church
they only open it up . . .
when a verse ~ they're to search.

But, then there are the ones,
who read their Bible every day
they know they need to study it
and apply the truth to their way!

John 14:6
King James Version

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way,
the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
