Every Hair Numbered

by Deborah Ann Belka © 2017

If God calls,
each star by their name
would He not for His children
do the very same?

If God feeds,
the birds on the fly
would He not for His children
their daily needs supply?

If God considers,
all the lilies of the field
would He not for His children
be their protective shield?

If God knows,
when a sparrows about to fall
would He not for His children
hear them when they call?

If God keeps,
each creature in His sight
would He not for His children
lead them with His light?

If God counts,
every hair by number
then we as His children . . .
these question needn’t ponder!

Luke 12:7

But even the very hairs
of your head are all numbered.
Fear not therefore:
ye are of more value
than many sparrows.
